REST FOR YOUR SOUL

So many thoughts racing through my mind.

What could I change.

How could I impress my point across to so many?

The pain was deep and long before any words came along.

I tried listening to a song.

Yet, how could I right a wrong?

I prayed to God I asked him for my soul to take.

Yet another morning I wake.

How could I get to the place where once again I felt so free?

Yes you know , the beautiful lake , the sky so blue , and birds

singing in the air ; while wind blows through your hair.

The questions of my soul are at hand .

My dreams seemed they had gone as grains of sand they seemed to have disappeared.

All I wanted was my mind to be clear.

For night has gone and now morning is near.

I prayed to God once more.

Silence was all I seemed to get.

No thunder , no lightning , no stars ; just a gentle whisper came through...

Peace I give you ....receive as you have before.

For in me you are made whole.

This is rest for your soul.
