I just found out this week on another recovery forum that the AA Grapevine is in danger of being discontinued. It will be discussed at great length at the next General Service Conference in Rye, New York in April.
This person also said that they attended the Area Committee Meetings a couple of weeks ago, and that their Delegate had just returned from the Board meetings in New York and the Grapevine is on the top of the Agenda for discussion and thinks it'll be done in at least 2 years. I love the Grapevine. I've gotten a subscription to it since i got sober. So, i hope the Grapevine doesn't get discontinued. We have groups in my area that take old Grapevines and pass them on to new members. I always give my Grapevine's to those groups when I'm done with them.

I hope they don't discontinue the Grapevine. There is a womens meeting I attend and we use the months Grapevine to pick a topic from. I'll be sure to pass this info on.
