just diagnosed

I was just diagnosed with severe depression today and I am kinda relieved but a little scared about it yet. My doctor has prescribed prozac for me to take. I have felt for a long time that maybe I was depressed but wasnt to sure about it. I know I have been very moody lately and on edge which I dont like one bit. I do hope it helps because I dont want to keep living this way.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the medication works. Be patient because when I was prescribed antidepressents it did take awhile before I felt better BUT I did eventually feel alot better.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers okietiger. I was on anti depressants years ago when i was younger. Now, I just take St. Johns wort. I hope the medicine works for you.
