My whine today is that i didn't sleep well last night. Still can't shake this cough and it was keeping me awake.

Going to the Dr's this afternoon. Now I can't get a hold of my husband on his cell phone. He said he would have it on so he knows what time to leave work to come get me.

Thank God he always calls me at 2:00 so I can tell him to get home for my apt at 3:00.

Well, I'm glad I went to the Dr's yesterday. I had a temp of 101. It was my bladder infection where it never healed. The other Dr I saw before Thanksgiving didn't give me enough antibiotics. This Dr gave me a stronger antibiotic for 10 days. So now I'm on the road to recovery with my bladder. LOL

My whine- Is that I missed my meetings the past couple of days where I felt like crap.

My whine is I lost my cell phone yesterday when I went to Wal-Mart.

I bought another phone and will call this morning and have the other phone disconnected and the number transferred over to the new phone. I have lost most of my numbers though, but such is life.

Through most carriers you can transfer your number. I just didn't want anyone to use my phone so I had them to deactivate it and alot of people have my cell as a contact number. I do keep records of the serial number and SIM card though because you have to have those in order for them to deactivate the phone.
As an update, I was able to get the old phone deactivated and the new phone activated with my old phone number in about 10 minutes they even transferred my unused minutes! I am so glad that I had all the information required and a very competent customer rep.

My whine today is that corporate invited management to a dinner and show in Wichita, along with hotel room and I was included---Now we're in the middle of a winter storm warning and can't drive there

. I was so looking forward to it. I guess it's just as well.

Well my whine today is that when I got in from work, my computer wouldn't access certain sites and I couldn't access Yahoo. I called ATT (my internet provider) and spent about an hour and a half troubleshooting, disabling, uninstalling, reinstalling, etc. only to find out it was something on their end not mine

. Now my Internet Explorer is corrupted (or something) so I either have to pay someone to fix it or use another browser. I am so mad. Eveything would have been fine if the first tech had the info that ATT Internet was having problems. Oh well, I'm going to use another browser and try to figure out something else later.

I've been whining to myself about the bad rear brakes on the car. I've gone for weeks cringing every time I had to stop. I just knew that repairs would be too expensive for my meager current budget. Not only my brakes whine, but I did as well! Last night I made some calls. Found a surprisingly reasonable price. This morning I take it in and the mechanical and human whining can finally stop.

I did the same thing last year LOL......my brakes got so bad that one evening I pulled up to attend a meeting at my homegroup and a friend said that she refused to let me drive until I got them fixed. For the next couple of days she drove me to work and back. I had the same fear that it just had to be too expensive, turns out I got them fixed at a very reasonable price through a connection in my homegroup. Boy all that time I drove around endangering my life and that lives of others was totally unnecessary. Fear is a common thread we alcoholics have, thanks for sharing.

My whine is that my character defect "procrastination" got me in trouble again. It's almost Christmas and I'm not ready. Plus, i have 3 days left to wrap up all my family's gifts where we are getting together on the 20th to celebrate Christmas together. I haven't mailed out my Christmas cards yet either.

I do this to myself every year, but I'm grateful I don't have to drink over it like i use too.

Back when I celebrated the Christmas holiday, I was always the one who answered, "Is it Xmas eve yet?" when asked if I was finished shopping. I would always be part of the madness, trying to get that last minute shopping in. I don't miss that at all.

Brakes and new tires make an amazing difference to not only the car but my attitude. I realized I dreaded every time I had to drive...now...hoo hah! C'mon snow...I got brakes and traction now.

My whine today? I gotta cold. Been trying to fight it off with massive vitamin C does but it isn't cooperating. I KNOW I got it from the guy in the meeting sitting next to me who kept coughing the whole hour. See? Online meetings are healthier in ways.
